GradeSaver offers literature notes known as ClassicNotes. As far as study guides are concerned, if you are looking for something other than literature, plays, poetry or film, you won’t find it at GradeSaver. This service focuses solely on literature—literature and writing, that is. GradeSaver also provides sample essays, college application essays and editing services.
The editing service is fairly unique among study guide service providers. You can send a draft of your paper or essay to GradeSaver’s editing service and, for a fee, they will revise and strengthen your paper. If you want a study guide service to help you with understanding the content of a book, or to help your instructor understand the content of your paper, GradeSaver may be the one–stop service for you.
Similar to our Gold and Silver Award winning services, GradeSaver does allow you to view their notes in their entirety without purchase. A purchase is only required for PDF downloads.
Just a note: there are more cost–effective editing services out there—the others just don’t have the study guides as well.
As previously mentioned, GradeSaver sticks to literature. They also cover a couple aspects of English grammar and writing. The poetry, plays and film sections are works in progress, as they offer only eight titles in poetry and one title in film, but 53 titles in plays. The additional services GradeSaver provides like writing help and editing almost make up for the absence of science, math, history and test prep.
The summaries and analyses available at GradeSaver are extremely high–quality.
Navigating GradeSaver’s website is simple and easy. The ads are non–distracting and navigational options are straight–forward.
GradeSaver provides the standard email and FAQ.
GradeSaver provides very high–quality services for literature. Although GradeSaver offers study guides on nothing more than literature, the basic literary guides are supplemented nicely by editing services and plenty of sample essays.
